Two-way relationships

To be interesting, is to be interested.

How well people listen when you speak depends upon how keenly you listen to them.

Your trustworthiness depends upon your ability to trust other people.

Your influence on other people depends upon how open you to their influence.

Most interpersonal skills bear a two-way relationship. How much of a skill you can acquire depends upon how much of it you are willing to give.
