Between openness and readiness

I might be open to change, but I only accept the change that I am ready for.

I might be open to feedback, but my colleauges would only give me feedback that I am ready for.

I might be open to a promotion, but I am not likely to receive it until I am ready for it.

Most of us are open to opportunities, challenges and for new perspectives. We need to ask ourselves if we are also ready for them.
