Redefining good leadership

We are seeing a major shift in how good leadership is defined.

In the centralized world of the past, a good leader was one who said to their team, ‘I have a vision, and I know better. Do as I say, and you will be better off.’

In a decentralized future, a good leader says to their team, ‘I trust you to show us the way. Tell me where you wish to go and how I can help you get there.’

What kind of leader would you like to be? To answer that question, just ask yourself ‘By what kind of leader would I rather be led?’.
