Problem vs. solution orientation

Some people can seek out a problem even when they are surrounded by solutions. Their critical eye spots that tiny wrinkle in a shirt that is perfectly ironed and fixates upon it.

And then there are people who can seek out a solution even when they are beset by problems. When everybody around them feels lost and hopeless, they are the ones who can somehow find a way out of the woods.

Of these two kinds, what kind of person are you? What kind would would you like to be?

We all lie somewhere on this spectrum. Yet, in each moment, we have a choice.

At all times, we are constantly surrounded by both problems and solutions. When we choose to notice the problems around us, we move to one extreme. When we choose instead to focus on the solutions, we gravitate towards the other.
