Addition is overpriced

We are quick to adopt the latest technology. But when we realize that a particular technology doesn’t serve our best interests, how quick are we to discard it?

We are quick to buy something at a time of need. How quick are we to discard it once that need has passed?

We are quick to add new moving parts to a machine. But those additional moving parts cause problems of their own, which leads us to add more parts, leading to an upward spiral.

We value addition too much at the cost of subtraction.
