The good thing about hard things

‘My body is inflexible. Therefore, yoga isn’t for me.’

Certain pursuits are easy for us, while others are hard. The hard pursuits are the most painful. If one’s body is inflexible, a yoga routine feels like torture. On the flipside, the benefits of pursing the hard things are the greatest. The greater the difficulty, the greater the potential for improvement.

The electric current through a wire is the largest where the potential difference is the highest. If maximal improvement is what you seek, gravitate towards that which is hard.
