And that is a good thing.
I readily admit that I am terrible at following my own advice – a lot of which I post on this blog. I also see that as a positive. Otherwise, I would not return everyday to write a post here.
How can not practicing what you preach be a good thing?
A piece of advice I do not yet follow offers room for improvement. It is a gap that I work towards bridging. It serves as an impetus for personal growth.
Personal growth lies at the very essence of human existence. From when we are babies to when we vanish from existence, we are always growing. The absence of growth is stagnation and death.
The day I am able to perfectly follow all my advice is also the day I stop living.
