Elusive emptiness

Which is the most frequently used character in the English language?

While the most frequently used alphabets in English are ‘e’, ‘a’ and ‘t’, the blank space that goes between words is the most frequent. Little wonder that the largest key in your keyboard is the space bar. Yet, most frequency lists do not acknowledge this fact.

Emptiness in our homes fills up with stuff. Our empty schedules are filled with appointments. The emptiness in our minds is filled a constant background noise of thoughts.

Even as emptiness eludes us, it is more essential than we realize. We must fight to preserve it.
