Challenge vs. Suffering

Our lives are filled with struggle. This struggle is essential – it lends meaning to our lives. The absence of struggle renders life meaningless.

Like stem cells in our body, our struggle is mutable. When we embrace struggle, it turns into a challenge. When we shun and try to avoid this struggle, it morphs into suffering.

A challenge motivates us, while suffering makes use miserable. Most importantly, we have the power to choose between these states.
