Zoom in

If I were to show somebody my apartment on Google Earth, I would first start at a zoom level where one can see the whole city of Berlin.

I would then zoom into central Berlin and slightly to the west, towards a large park that is close to my house.

I then would zoom into my locality, with a canal cutting through it and several rows of houses parallel to each other.

Finally, I would point with my mouse to the row in one of which you can find our apartment.

When you show somebody something new, it helps to start from a place that they can relate to and zoom into the details one step at a time.
