Reset the feedback loop

As George Orwell once lamented, sloppy thinking leads people to use unclear language. When unclear language prevails in our culture, it leads to more sloppy thinking.

When girls are led to believe that they cannot master math or computer science, they steer clear from these fields. When they steer clear from this field, it further reinforces that belief.

Several beliefs we hold reinforce feedback loops that do not serve us. But once we drop those beliefs, we have the power to reset them, move forward and build a better world.
