While visiting museums or monuments, I often used to photograph the descriptions alongside exhibits in the hope of reading them later. I have, to date, never lived up to that hope.

If an artifact does not capture my imagination when I stand right in front of it, I’d rather move on to something else that does.

The present moment is a perfect judge of the essential.
